‘Mobius Blues popped out one day when I was waiting for a student to appear for a lesson. I recorded it into my phone, and transcribed it later, only to find that it had a few odd corners, that didn’t quite fit any known form. Every time I tried to iron them out, and get the tune to behave in 4 bar phrases, the tune appealed to me less and less. So I left it as it was, and named it after Mobius’ strip.’ - Shirley
